Supporting local businesses has always been important to me. I believe that when you support local, you are investing in the well-being of your community and its future. Right now, more than ever, we need to keep our local businesses of Newmarket in mind when shopping to ensure that we all come out of this stronger than before.
Two years ago, I met Jaimie Park at the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce. Does that name sound familiar? Probably. She is the Knowledge Broker’s Client Experience Designer and is responsible for developing creative touchpoints across the entire customer journey.
With both focused heavily on catering to clients’ needs as a whole, we set out on a journey of figuring out ways to making Knowledge Broker the client-oriented company it is today. After a little brainstorming, we came up with the concept of building local as a way to share business contacts with other business owners. In other words, the Knowledge Broker Preferred booklet was born.
The Knowledge Broker Preferred booklet is on its second edition and includes 125 different local businesses that clients can choose to work with. It offers a wide range of services from contracting, to landscaping, to insurance, to legal services, and many more. If you are looking for a reliable contact or you know someone who is, I am certain that this book will prove to be exactly what you need.
With recent events and the cancellation of the Newmarket Home & Lifestyle Show, we reached out to vendors to propose compiling an informative document that could be shared on social media or emailed out to each participant's database. This document turned into what is now The Newmarket Local (see below), a newsletter outlining local retailers and services offering promotions for the 2020 Spring and Summer Season.
Regardless of what’s happening in the world, we all want everyone to know that we are working harder than ever and will be open for business in the upcoming months. Everyone could use some support at this time. Let’s start locally.
At Knowledge Broker, our goal is to create an open-source of information for all our clients. We want to ensure that, at the end of the day, they get exactly what they want and what they need. If you know someone who could use our help or services please put them in touch with us or send us their details using the contact information below.
