If you are moving or are thinking of moving in the near future, you may be questioning if you should begin searching for a new real estate agent in the same location you are moving to. The truth is, you do not necessarily have to do this. 
 
You should work with someone who is familiar and has local knowledge of the area in which you wish to live. If you have already found an agent in your existing area that is close to where you are moving and meets your needs, you can still use them.
 
If you are still questioning your compatibility, you can ask an agent to refer you to another agent in the city or town that you are moving to. This is a good, reliable option, especially if you are moving a far distance and do not know of anyone.
 
The best advice I can give is to do your research and choose a real estate agent who you are compatible with and trust to guide you through the process.
