#1 Kitchens: Kitchens have always been a highlight of a house. In some cases, the kitchen alone can sell a house. That could not be more true today - with people at home having extra time to try new recipes and spend time with family, a functional and spacious kitchen is at the top of every home buyer’s wish list. 
 
#2 Gyms: Currently gyms are open at a reduced capacity, but there is a level of uncertainty. If buyers aren’t ready or able to return to their gym, they want a workout area in their house. A workout room just requires space, so if you have an empty area in the basement, that’s perfect! Fill it with whatever equipment you can to give the initial impression of a home gym. 
 
#3 Outdoor Space: Even though the warm season is coming to an end, buyers are still looking for a future outdoor escape. With the proper landscaping, you can turn even a small backyard into an oasis.  
 
#4 Quiet Areas: During quarantine, buyers started to realize that living in a house with a roommate, partner or kids can become very overwhelming. Each member of the house needs a quiet place they can turn to. That’s why buyers are now searching for homes with just those requirements. 
 
#5 Home Office: Many are predicting that after the pandemic more businesses will allow work from home days for their teams. In the meantime, home buyers want to know that they have a designated space for an office. If you currently don’t have an office set up, have no fear.
