WELCOME TO NEWMARKET

Newmarket is a fantastic community for families and individuals looking for a place to call home as an alternative to the “city life” with all of the same amenities and more. In 1800, one of the founders of Newmarket, Timothy Rogers; a Quaker from Vermont, fell in love with the area when he arrived with his family. He was so inspired by its natural beauty and accessibility that he asked other families to join him and together they built a town that became known as Newmarket. It was originally a fur-trading community which transitioned to a farming settlement. Residents set up farmers’ markets, built gristmills, saw mills and eventually the Tannery. Timothy Rogers’ entrepreneurial spirit was passed along to his descendants Edward S. Rogers; a radio pioneer and his son, the late Ted Rogers; founder of Rogers Communications. Many century homes and original buildings have been designated as historical properties with each one having it’s own plaque commemorating the original pioneers that helped lay the foundation for Newmarket.

Josh was excellent! He was pleasant, professional, reliable, knowledgeable, and a great negotiator when it came time to get the deal done. We had a bidding war, sold in a day and a half, and secured an offer for 28K over ask. This wouldn't have been possible without Josh's amazing ability to negotiate in our favour with the other agents. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend using him. Oh, and he is a really nice guy :) - Matt Dilullo
